Feeling Crafty

I've always wanted to be one of those crafty people who makes their own cards and has cute paper on hand for any spur-of-the-moment craft ideas they might have. Unfortunately I've always rationalized that cute paper and crafty supplies were completely dispensable expenditures when it came to my budgeting, and therefore I lack the supplies when I get the itch to do something crafty. Fortunately, however, I am friends with crafty people... one of whom lent me her paper scraps so I could try my hand at some craftiness over the past couple of weeks. This may not seem like much, but it totally made my day, and I'm feeling rather crafty at the moment.

These are the magnets I made for my fridge. I have wanted cute magnets for years and finally figured out how to make these and bought the supplies to do it. They brighten my day every time I walk by the fridge. Isn't it funny how very simple things can make such a difference?

This is the birthday card I made for my mom. I thought it turned out so cute and it matched her gift perfectly. Yay for pretty birthday things!

This was a lot of fun for me. Hopefully there are more crafty things in my near future. :)
