Just over a week ago my wonderful friends here in Phoenix threw a baby shower for me. It was so much fun to celebrate this exciting time in my life with them. There was excellent food (a must for the pregnant lady), games and good company. Our little guy received some adorable outfits -- I think he's going to be the best dressed baby I've ever seen! -- along with some baby care necessities, playtime items and a high chair. Someone even made me a diaper cake, which is adorable! Thanks to everyone who participated in the planning, I loved every minute of it! Also, a big thank you to every one who came to share their love and support, I appreciate you all! I feel so loved and very blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life.

This little girl was a big helper when it came to unwrapping presents. I know it's just good preparation for what's to come from my own son. :)

Now that the showers are over I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of our baby boy. I must be nesting because I keep making lists of things I need to do/buy/figure out/set up before the little guy gets here. I occasionally get contractions too, which makes things interesting. They haven't been painful yet, but it's definitely a weird feeling. I'm on the countdown now with only four and a half weeks to go!
