Back to Blogging

We didn't intend to go a whole month without blogging, but six weeks came and went without a post. We haven't been doing anything too exciting though, so it kind of feels justified. Joseph has been dedicated to working on his thesis over the past month and a half. His final draft is due on Friday, but then there's the defense, and then possibly revisions... so he's still got a little way to go. It is nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel though. As for me, I got new glasses a few weeks ago. It really was time for a new pair, since I had my last pair for over 7 years. I stepped on them, and it ended their life. Here's my new look...

We've had a lot of snow since the new year. I'm trying to enjoy it as much as I can before we move to Phoenix. Unfortunately, I have a feeling we won't get much snow there. Maybe if we go up to the mountains, but no more snow outside our windows. I was kind of warding off the snow, but ever since we've found out we're going to Phoenix, I've practically been praying for it.

I also did a family photo shoot for some family down in St. George. That was lots of fun. They are the same family I did my very first ever photo shoot on after getting my camera back in 2007. It's nice to see that I'm progressing. I'm also in the process of looking for a job in Phoenix. I'm hoping to find work with a photographer, as an assistant or something, so I can develop my skills and get more experience. If you know any wedding photographers in Phoenix, let me know. Ü

So it's your fault we keep getting all this snow! I guess if I need something I'll just ask you to pray for it. :0) You look cute in your new glasses, and good luck to Joseph with the thesis! Really, we need to get together before you guys leave Utah. We're running out of time!
