Viva Phoenix?

.

So, I had never seen the Hoover dam before. Fortunately, it's right on the way to Phoenix when traveling by way of Las Vegas. We didn't stay long, just a couple of minutes so we could snap this picture, but you could probably stay for hours taking the tour and walking around. It is massive, and beautiful. And, if you look closely, you can see my new hair cut. :)

Finally, we made it to Phoenix, our home for the next 4 months. The apartment we are living in is at least twice the size of the Love Shack, it will be hard to down size when we move back to Provo.

We were excited to attend our new ward today. We looked it up online last night and the ward meets at 11:30. We decided to leave at 11 so we could walk to church. When we got there, a meeting was in progress. I thought maybe it was just the prior ward's sacrament meeting running over until I saw the TV broadcasting the meeting in the hall. We realized that it was Stake Conference. Maybe those dates should be posted on LDS.org too... because we had no idea. But we enjoyed our 40 minutes of church!

Okay, so you have to explain to me why you have moved to Arizona? Are you there for an internship or something?

I love your new haircut and your new place.... it looks really nice! Maybe you'll find something a bit bigger than the Love Shack when you return to Provo.

Wow! What a fun apartment! Enjoy it! When we lived in CT that one summer, it was so fun to live in a nice, new, clean apartment for those four months. It will be hard to go back. Are you returning to the love shack? CUTE HAIR!!!
