Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice

That's what our little girl is made of... or will be, I guess. That's right, it's a girl! She's still in the oven, but we are so excited that she will be joining our family in the Fall, and I am so excited I won't be out numbered. :) I feel her move every day now and I love those little reminders that she's in there. I can't wait to see Austin as a big brother. He's so sweet and he gets so interested when we see tiny babies. I think he is going to love having a baby in the house.

Today we hit 20 weeks and I can't help but hear that Bon Jovi song in my head, "Whoaaaa, we're half way there... Whoaaaa, living on a prayer!" Sometimes motherhood feels like I'm living on a prayer, especially motherhood while pregnant. My energy seems zapped so easily and I'm getting a bit less nimble, to say the least. Even with the discomforts I have, which I know are only minor, I know I wouldn't trade this for anything. I'm already in love with this tiny girl. I really can't wait to meet her. Now, if only Fall didn't have to come after the hot hot summer. We haven't even really hit the triple digit days yet and I'm already so hot. Good thing we have a pool. :)

Did you already announce it was a girl? Because somehow in my head, I was just imagining that you were having a girl. Congrats, either way :)

YEAH! One of each!! How fun! Get ready to spend some cash. Girls are WAY more fun to shop for. :)

Oh yay!! I think it's awesome to get to experience one of each and I know you will feel the same. Hope the rest of your pregnancy is uneventful and fun.
